Field Laborer - Specialty Division

This role is responsible for installation of erosion control solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties:

• Stage and install various underground detention materials
• Perform a variety of physical labor activities
• Work in all types of adverse weather and confined areas
• Maintain a safe and clean job site
• Promotes a positive work environment
• Work as a team to safely achieve profitable job completion
• Operate various hand tools and power tools

Additional Information:

Work Environment/Conditions In the performance of the job duties, this position requires work in a variety of environments including construction sites and natural resource areas. This position will primarily work outside in all types of weather conditions and environments including but not limited to possible high, precarious places and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the environment is quiet to loud.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong work ethic
• Must have physical stamina sufficient to perform construction type work such as: lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment, and in and out of ditches for 8-12-hour shifts
• Valid Driver’s License
• Satisfactory criminal background check for job access
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of the construction, landscaping or maintenance fields (A plus)
• Experience operating construction equipment i.e. skid steer, excavator, etc.… (A plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Overtime

Ability to Relocate:

• New Castle, DE 19720: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
