Job Description:
Put your creative talents to work! Exact Tile is searching for an Interior Designer specializing in tile and stone to join our award-winning design team. This is more than just a design role—you'll collaborate with top Interior Designers, Architects, and General Contractors in the area while contributing to both the design and installation processes. You'll have the chance to work on a wide variety of projects, from residential spaces to large-scale commercial developments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage design projects from concept through installation, focusing on tile and stone applications.
- Incorporate Natural Stone, Glass, Ceramic, and Porcelain Tiles into cohesive interior design plans.
- Develop and present creative design solutions that meet client needs and project specifications.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Educate customers on product use, durability, and design applications.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project success.
Required Skills:
- Strong interior design skills with a focus on materials and finishes.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Professional customer service skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Punctual and reliable.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in floor planning, estimating, and invoicing.
- Familiarity with Asana for project management.
- Proficiency in CAD or SketchUp for design visualization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Email and SharePoint).
- Experience with Podium for payment and customer communication.
- Knowledge of Squarespace.
Qualifications:
- Skills in Space Planning, Architecture, and Interior Design.
- Experience creating Construction Drawings.
- Knowledge of FF&E selection with an emphasis on tile and stone.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred.
