Job Details
The Lead Pharmacy Technician will serve as the subject matter expert of their designated pharmacy team. They will work alongside the Pharmacy Managers to drive and support department efficiencies.
In this role, the expectation is to act as a leader. This includes, but is not limited to, living by example and supporting company and department goals. As well, the Lead Pharmacy Technician will demonstrate their ability drive results and achieve a consistent standard of work from the pharmacy team.
Responsibilities
Subject matter expert within Fulfillment, displaying the capability to do the following:
Scheduling of technicians
Training of new hires
Prioritizing STAT orders through process
Quality checklists
Standard work checklists
End of day reporting
Interpreting and Monitoring of Salesforce and DOMO reports and following up (Missing Orders Report, Special Delivery Report, Production Flow)
Ability to prepare, monitor and follow up with technician schedules
Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to collaborate with internal partners and resolve patient issues
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma /GED required.
Prior experience in a pharmacy or leadership role, preferred
Certified with the Texas Board of Pharmacy, preferred.
If not registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy, must be willing to obtain a registration status upon hire.
