Job Details
The Pharmacy Operations Manager for our TX fulfillment center is a critical, strategic level operations leadership role for Exactcare. We are pioneers in the increasingly critical pharmacy space of Long-Term Care at home through our med synchronization and adherence packaging. This individual will be key in further driving how we are improving patient outcomes, decreasing in-patient stays and lowering the cost of healthcare.
Our TX fulfillment Pharmacy Operations Manager partners with the Site Director to manage the strategic and day-to-day operations including staffing, employee engagement and continuous improvement. The scope includes leading the Pharmacy Technician Staff, ATP operations, filling, packaging, delivery and inventory management. This individual will also act as one of the Senior Site Leaders for our Dallas-Fort Worth location and ensure issues related to human resource policy, engagement and morale that affect all individuals working on-site are handled in a consistent manner, aligned with other functional leaders.
Responsibilities
Achieve production cost to fill objectives, meet required level of productivity within the constraints of the budgeted headcount for available volume
Disciplined and consistent approach to performance management including Individual Action Plans and Corrective Action, all employees achieve objectives
Achieve month over month reduction in Quality Related Events associated with fulfillment
Achieve goals for control and reduction of delivery cost per shipment
Achieve inventory accuracy within 1% variance between our third party and our internal inventory management system values on a quarterly basis
Achieve goals for reduction in inventory losses
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
Front line supervision of teams in excess of 25 employees
Strong and sustained healthcare background and ability to provide guidance to the full spectrum of skill levels within the operation
Demonstrated ability to coach, council and issue progressive discipline
Natural ability to handle stressful situations and change in a positive manner that maintains and enhances morale and individual self esteem
Industry and continuous improvement experience in a high volume, precise fulfillment / distribution environment
Work an overnight shift with the ability to work one day a week during the day
