Qualifications
- Core Java: Proficiency in Java 8 features (e.g., streams, lambdas, concurrency, and functional programming)
- Experience with Spring (Core, Boot, Batch, Data) and Hibernate/JPA for enterprise-level application development
- Understanding of threading, synchronization, and concurrent programming
- Experience with messaging platforms
- Development and consumption of RESTful APIs, along with experience in API security, versioning, and documentation
- Advanced Oracle SQL: Ability to write efficient queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Experience in query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plans, and troubleshooting database performance issues
- Experience in creating complex stored procedures, packages, and exception handling
- Handling large datasets with tools like SQL Loader or external table interfaces
- Experience with Maven/Gradle Tools for build automation
- Experience with Git and branching strategies in collaborative environments
- Experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline for code deployment
- Use of tools for logging and performance monitoring
- Proficiency with Git and version control
- Strong communication /articulation skill with fluent English
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications to support
- Integrate systems with market data providers and other internal/external systems
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Implement performance tuning techniques to ensure high database efficiency
- Coordinate with DBAs for schema design, data migration, and troubleshooting
- Build and maintain robust batch jobs to handle large-scale data processing
- Optimize batch workflows for performance, reliability, and fault tolerance
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive best practices
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure robust testing and delivery
- Ensure effective logging and monitoring mechanisms for proactive issue identification
- Maintain technical documentation for code, systems, and integrations
