Examinetics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our team! We are considering candidates in Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Chicago, Kansas City, Atlanta, and Denver. Frequent domestic travel is required for this position. The Industrial Hygiene Technician role involves monitoring, assessing, and managing workplace environmental conditions to ensure the safety and health of employees. This role will be responsible for performing routine industrial hygiene assessments, collecting samples, analyzing hazardous materials, and assisting in the development of industrial hygiene assessment reports.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of workplace environments to identify potential hazards such as chemical, biological, and physical risks.
- Perform air, water, noise, and surface sampling for contaminants, and analyze data to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor workplace conditions for compliance with OSHA, NIOSH, and other industrial hygiene standards.
- Maintain and calibrate industrial hygiene sampling equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of hazard control measures, including ventilation systems, PPE, and safety protocols.
- Conduct noise, air, and other environmental exposure assessments.
- Communicate with company project management and client for industrial hygiene assessments.
- Generate and maintain detailed reports on environmental monitoring, including findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all health and safety assessments, including exposure data and incident reports.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, environmental health, safety, or a related field preferred.
- 1 years experience in industrial hygiene sampling and report writing
- Proficient use of Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), internet, and laboratory sample methodology websites
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, NIOSH) and industrial hygiene practices
