Examinetics is hiring a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team! This is a full time position based at our Overland Park office location. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting. You will partner closely with department heads and senior leadership to provide actionable insights and help shape the financial strategy of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of the consolidated monthly financial statements and 3 month rolling forecast
- Maintain and update key reports and data sets used in the creation of the monthly rolling forecast
- Create and present PowerPoint decks for quarterly Board of Director meetings
- Prepare, review, and distribute monthly departmental level P&Ls and determine forward looking plans and address any reporting needs that may result
- Produce financial and operational KPI dashboards leveraged by the executive team
- Participate in annual budget cycle execution including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
- Establish forecast modeling and KPI's for newly acquired businesses in partnership with leadership
- Assist in the execution of incentive compensation plans
- Create complex models that integrate disparate data sources
- Innovate process improvements that result in faster turnaround times and greater reliability
- Assist accounting team with various close activities related to revenue recognition and expense accruals
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- 3 years of related work experience
- 1 years of work experience in an analytical role
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Possess a strong understanding of technical accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong knowledge of general accrual accounting concepts specific to revenue recognition, working capital, CAPEX, free cashflow
- Strong experience with Excel including experience with the following: pivot tables, v lookups, index formulas, and more
- Experience working across multiple complex and fragmented data sets/sources
- Experience with revenue recognition
- Experience maintaining, tracking and updating multiple data files across a variety of measure types
- Experience reporting on KPIs (financial and non-financial)
- Experience preparing large organizational budgets
- Experience crafting and articulating complex financial models
- Experience working cross functionally with teams and C Suite level executives
