Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Services: Assist with activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene maintenance to ensure client well-being.
- Daily Living Support: Provide help with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with movement, transfers, and exercises to maintain physical health and independence.
- Emotional Support: Engage in friendly conversations and provide companionship to combat loneliness.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients adhere to their prescribed medication schedules.
- Client Monitoring: Observe and report changes in the client’s condition to healthcare professionals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client’s health.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification: Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program.
- CPR/First Aid Certification: Preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience in home healthcare or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
