Exceed is looking for the right person to join the Payment Programs team which supports and enhances legacy systems that serve various financial purposes within USPS. Each system has mainframe and distributed components consisting of web front ends, databases, windows and Linux servers and middleware technologies. As part of annual mandatory work these systems require upgrades to their technologies and migration to modern tech stacks. USPS is working to reduce the mainframe footprint and is rewriting aspects of each system for best cost benefit. USPS requires mainframe expertise and support of the legacy systems as they are being modernized.
Systems supported include, but are not limited to :
- OMAS – consolidates financial activity for government agencies.
- FMRS – a reporting system for the mailings of congress.
- Uniform Allowance – a mainframe system that manages the enrollment of employees in a purchase card program for uniform.
- EAPS – An accounts payable system for one-off payments or other activity that doesn’t fit within our corporate AR system.
