What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Exceed Safety?
Our growing consulting firm is looking for an office assistant to oversee and handle clerical tasks in our Raleigh-based office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office assistant duties and errands.
JOB Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Handing incoming phone calls
- Scheduling meetings and maintaining schedules
- Assist with basic accounting and financial duties including scanning, taking deposits to the bank and managing credit cards
- Managing filing system
- Managing office inventory
- Running errands
- Maintaining office equipment as needed
- Watering plants
- Keeping office common areas maintained and stocked

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years prior administrative office experience
- Experienced in Microsoft Office
- Associates degree with 2 years of experience; or current college student with business background
- Bookkeeping and financial skills a must
- Valid US driver’s license
Work Hours & Benefits:
- This is a w-2 part time position only that is paid $17/hourly, that has potential to become full-time
- Schedule is 20 hours per week and must be able to work afternoons
- Local candidates only.
