Short Term/Intermittent Site Safety Field Staffing Professional
Job Description
- Staffing for 3 to 6 weeks with on call work after that
- Working directly with the client as a W-2 employee on jobsite based in Holly Springs, NC, the safety professional conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
- Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
- Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on client project site.
- Provides project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirm project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
- Provides technical support to project managers.
- Participates in team meetings and provides regular on-site project presence.
Work Hours & Benefits
- This is a w-2 casual position that is paid hourly.
- Schedule is 40 hours minimum per week, nights and weekend are possible as needed on this project.
- Pay rate is depending on credentials and experience.
- Per Diem is not paid on this job

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 500 required
- Minimum 5 years large scale construction experience, including at least 3 years management level safety profession experience
- Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA 500 (Construction Safety)
- Drug testing and background checks are required
