We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for our young students. Your role will be essential in shaping the minds of our children, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about childcare and committed to providing the highest level of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for our students, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
- Plan and implement engaging and interactive lessons, activities, and games that cater to the needs of our students.
- Develop and maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
- Engage in infant care and toddler care, including feeding, changing, and soothing.
- Create lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the individual needs of each student.
- Build strong relationships with our students, their families, and our team, providing regular updates on their progress.
- Develop and implement classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and respect for others.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of our students' daily activities, meals, and progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement activities and events that promote teamwork and social skills.
Skills
- Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting.
- Proven classroom management skills.
- Experience in infant care and toddler care, including feeding, changing, and soothing.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and childcare best practices.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Experience with nannying or childcare.
- Familiarity with daycares and their curriculum.
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and families.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
