Job Title: Unit Manager at Woodbury for Rehabilitation and Nursing
Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the role of Unit Manager. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, clinical abilities, and a passion for working in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assure the overall supervision of all nursing personnel concerned with the resident care and ensure compliance with all federal, state and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care.
Requirements:
- Experience in nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as law, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Leadership and supervisory ability, willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
- Able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Previous managerial/supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Sigma Care EMR.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with a salary range of $50.00 - 55.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
