Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Audiologist to join our expanding practice. We are a locally owned private practice currently expanding to another location. The Audiologist will be responsible for running and managing our new Southport, NC location . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology and a passion for helping patients improve their hearing health. You will be responsible for providing a quality patient journey experience. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, provide fitting and adjustment of hearing aids, and offer counseling to patients regarding their hearing health. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough audiometric evaluations to assess patients' hearing abilities.
- Diagnose hearing disorders and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Educate patients and their families about hearing loss, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology and related technologies.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a preference for autonomy
- Willing to learn new patient management system.
- Passion for working with and fitting hearing aids.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage patient schedules and documentation effectively.
- Aseptic technique knowledge is beneficial for maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients.
