The Department of Undergraduate Nursing, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program teaching at the bedside in obstetric, pediatric, medical-surgical, or critical care practice settings.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor to work with students completing obstetric, pediatric, Medical-surgical, or critical care clinical experiences in our highly-ranked Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program beginning in the Fall semester of 2025. Responsibilities include teaching and supervision of students in the clinical setting, grading clinical assignments, evaluation of student performance, and serving as a professional nursing role model. Faculty will be assigned to teach in courses commensurate with their nursing experience.

- Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in Texas
- Clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in critical care, pediatric care, and obstetric care areas
- Prior BSN clinical teaching experience
- DNP or PhD
