Summary
Excel Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate 1st & 2nd Grade Teacher who is committed to creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a structured, positive, and Christ-centered learning environment.
- Encourage positive behavior, honor, and responsibility among students.
- Support students' social, emotional, and spiritual development through mentorship and guidance.
- Work closely with fellow teachers, administrators, and staff to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in core subjects, including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Florida teaching certification.
- Experience teaching early elementary grades preferred.
- Strong faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to integrating Christian values into education.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering a love for learning.
