We are looking for an experienced Mohs Histotechnician to join our diverse dermatology practice in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a part-time, morning position, with the potential to be finished by noon. We offer a flexible schedule and a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly cut and process Mohs tissue with precision and efficiency
- Prepare and maintain laboratory space for optimal workflow
- Ensure quality control and compliance with lab standards, such as CLIA and OSHA
- Communicate effectively with the Mohs surgeon and clinical team
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of lab equipment and supplies
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- Experience with cutting Mohs tissue is required
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
- Comfortable setting up and organizing lab space
- Willingness to take on additional administrative roles in the dermatology clinic if seeking more hours
- Excited to grow with the practice
