JOB TITLE: Leasing and Compliance Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the leasing of all vacancies with the goal of maintaining full occupancy at assigned properties. Comply with all Affordable Housing regulations through the application process with prospective tenants. Attentive to customers’ needs or concerns to resolve any issues. Establish relationships with community organizations, partners, and advocates to build a connection within the communities we work in.

Compensation:

· $43,000 to $45,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to hire professionals to take on the role as a Property Manager. Our hands on approach to property management has proven to be effective and is evident by our successes. Our Property Managers are the face of our company within the communities. They build the company brand in a professional and positive manner. Among the responsibilities of the role are:

· Relationship Building:Create and maintain relationships with prospects and current tenants through communication and transparency with company processes and what can be expected. Respond to all questions and concerns. Serve as a company liaison.

· Compliance Responsibility & Accountability: Follow company procedures and adhere to all rules and regulations set by Fair Housing. Ensure all work you perform is accurate, complete, and well documented to protect company assets.

· Team Problem Solving: Improve productivity by helping team members complete tasks. Cross-train in other company areas, learn new properties, volunteer for new opportunities to build your brand as an asset to the team.

· Market through Tenant Experience: Perfect your move-in and move-out process to create a simple transition for the tenant. Keep an open communication with tenants and follow-thru with set commitments made to them. Building trust will build a good reputation leading to word-of-mouth marketing.

ABOUT YOU

You will possess the following skills:

  • Must have a Real Estate License or Broker License

· Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and listening

· Attention to detail with high accuracy and completeness

· Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize tasks. Know when to switch focus to meet the needs of the business

· Team player, but also willing to take initiative to lead when needed

· A problem solver who looks for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies

· Desire to expand your knowledge and skills and adapt to change

You must possess:

· A valid driver’s license

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Ability to travel which includes over-night stays

· 2 years of customer service experience
