.NET Developer

As the Drive Prodigy Learning Management System (LMS) grows, so does our team. The position of .NET Developer is a long-term position and will focus on the long-term success of Drive Prodigy LMS.

Drive Prodigy LMS is the only behavior-based learning management system on the market, servicing Safety and Compliance with integration with Sim-Tech Simulators and customizable hands-on training. Industries include – and are not limited to - CDL compliance, Military, Law Enforcement, Fire / EMS, First Responders, Teen Drivers, and all other Excel Driver Services and Simulation Technology client’s industries.

The .NET developer position is available as a full-time In Office position as a part of the team, and will work under the direction of the Director to design, build, and maintain web technology solutions including web applications, mobile applications, API’s, and other web related LMS features as scoped.

Responsibilities

• Design and build web technologies under the direction of the solutions architect / Director.
• Work with product teams and other stakeholders to build user-friendly web and mobile applications
• Work with end users as needed to resolve bugs and other issues.
• Maintain existing code bases using best practices.
• Monitor health of production environments.
• Work with the Director to document planning and sprint work
• Use Monday.com and Azure for project management
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to document solution requirements and design appropriate systems and applications.
• Ensure any necessary integrations between systems are completed while respecting requirements, project timeline and budget.
• Ensure that best practices are implemented across all solutions in regard to security.
• Design and implement data management practices ensuring both data integrity and security.
• Create technical documentation for all requirements, systems, and processes.
• Participate in testing of systems and integrations as required

Technical Skills

• Experience building web applications using .NET Framework or .NET Core and AspNet web technologies.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework tools for .NET.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server databases in a production environment.
• Knowledge of best practices for security of web applications and API’s.
• Working knowledge of repository management tools (Git)
• Experience building user-friendly web interfaces css and Bootstrap.
• Experience with development practices across many different platforms (web, mobile, desktop, etc.) and repository tools such as Git.
• Specific knowledge of .NET tools (AspNetCore, Framework, Core, EntityFramework).
• Management of production-level databases and deployment systems.

Candidate Requirements

• Three to five years of experience building web applications is preferred.
• Three to five years of experience building mobile applications is preferred.
• Some experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other developers, product leads, and stakeholders.
