What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excel - Façade Structural Engineer position at Excel Engineering Inc?
An Engineer will be a registered professional engineer with solid engineering principles and code knowledge. This individual must have the ability to use computer software for analysis and selection. The majority of the time is spent in the office providing engineering. Occasionally, this individual will go to jobsites and attend project meetings. Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ASTM E1300, and ADM. Software experience shall include Microsoft Excel, MathCAD, RISA 3D and other specialty software. Has experience in designing aluminum façade systems, structural glass systems, and / or structures. Design experience should include curtain wall, storefront, wall panel cladding systems, and / or specialty structures. Understanding of lateral stability and connection design.
Requirements : Bachelor's Degree
Experience : 5-8 years
