Job Summary : As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for fulfilling the contracted scope of work including Customer Service, supervision of staff, hiring, training, budgeting, and reporting.Responsibilities : Provide high level of customer service and account management, taking all action necessary to ensure completion of required work, according to contract scope, company policy and direction of Director of Operations.Effectively manage and train work crews (including Area Supervisors / Leads) and take all action(s) necessary to keep proper staffing, including but not limited to advertising, training, budgeting, scheduling and discipline / discharge all employees in assigned locations.Complete and submit all required paperwork, including but not limited to quality reports, signoffs, summary sheets, schedules, and timesheets from time management system.Maintain constant open communication with all staff assigned. Regularly communicate with the Director of Operations to keep up to date on the status of the location; as well as communicate with Facility managers on the scope of services.Timely share information with corporate office personnel regarding all work-related injuries, claims of discrimination, harassment and other human resource matters, properly complete accident investigation reports.Ensure that all needed supplies and necessary equipment are available and in working condition for assigned worksites.Knows and follows all safety rules and proper procedures associated with the responsibilities of the job.Generate new sales opportunities while developing partnerships with assigned client / companies. Properly maintain account for any equipment assigned to their territory.Maintain a professional appearance and dress while representing the company.Flexible schedule required including nights, weekends, holidays for special work events. 20% of the job consist of traveling Perform Monthly QC inspection via QC Portal.Skills and Education Requirements : Floor care or janitorial management experience preferredCarpet care and cleaning; stripping / cleaning / buffing of floor types; floor care chemicals; operation of floor care equipment.Thoroughness, dependability, tact and courtesy; ability to work in a team environment and good judgment.General knowledge of computer software.Effective communication with customers, as well as with internal corporate personnel.Organized, proven problem-solving abilities, and ability to multi-task, and prioritize job responsibilities.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus Time and Attendance Systems knowledge is a plus.PHYSICAL DEMANDS : This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50 lbs., with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
