Software Developer

Our team at Excel Fluid Group (EFG) is looking for an on-site software developer to join our Brook Park, OH location. This is a full-time first shift position (Monday – Friday) 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM. EFG specializes in the supply of Pumping Equipment and Complete Packaged Pump Stations. For over 30 years we have been supplying pumps and pump stations to the market, ensuring accurate product selection for long-term and cost-effective solutions for any application.

Summary:

This role will focus on designing and managing software solutions that streamline business operations, improve system interfaces, and support both internal and external customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance workflows, and implement new technologies.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

· Software Development: Design and develop software solutions that enhance business processes and customer interactions.

· Database Management: Create, manage, and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

· Reporting and Dashboards: Use tools like PowerBI to develop detailed business reports and visually engaging dashboards.

· Process Improvement: Build custom tools such as macros and automation scripts to simplify daily operations.

· Software Implementation: Oversee configuration, upgrades, and seamless integration of new software systems.

· System Administration (Beneficial but not required): Manage system permissions, troubleshoot issues, and oversee user approvals for various platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

· Technical Expertise: Proficiency in software programming, database management, and web development.

· Analytical Tools: Familiarity with PowerBI for reporting and data visualization (preferred).

· System Management: Basic knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Sage), CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and CAD/PDM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is advantageous.

· Adaptability: Strong multitasking abilities and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

· Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
