As a Home Health Aide, you'll provide essential support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, homemaking, shopping, and companionship. Your dedication and care will make a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities of Home Health Aide:
- Assist clients withActivities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Provide mobility support, including transferring clients from bed to wheelchair or assisting during ambulation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, changing bed linens, and general cleaning.
- Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition based on dietary needs and client preferences.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition.
- Offer medication reminders as outlined in the care plan.
- Engage clients in conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and any observed changes in the client’s condition.
- Communicate effectively with the care team, including family members and healthcare professionals.
This position does require a driver's license and own vehicle.
