Summary
As a Recruiter at Excel Nursing Services, you will play a vital role in sourcing and attracting top talent within the healthcare industry. This position is essential in supporting our mission to provide exceptional staffing solutions while ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, Interview and Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of all applications. Ensure that the proper required documentation is collected. Runs or ensures all required reports and background checks. Orients new hires.
- Assists General Manager with Managing Unemployment Claims, Workman’s Comp Claims.
- Create, Revise and Manage HR ads weekly to meet all required positions open/needed. Provides input in the development of written job descriptions and is responsible for completing performance appraisals of staff consistent with agency policies.
- Ensure that new staff are quickly processed, on-boarded/hired if meeting criteria. hire criteria, and scheduled. Client and field staff’s needs are met; bookings are consistently made based on client and staff needs and availability. Engage with ASAP and teach scheduler staff to maximize staffing hours and increase intakes.
- Distributes new hires and monitors status of new/pending nurses. Assigns follow up recruitment call and mailings on inactive and prospective staff. Prepare monthly recruitment and schedule statistical reports including any significant variances. Ensure clock in in EMR are performed correctly.
- Performs Human Resource documentation and procedures to ensure proper processing is performed on all office and field staff as required by law. Performs required monthly and annual HR compliance duties. Screens, interviews, hire employees. Disciplines and fires employees according to policy and with coordination from Office Manager, Director or Designee.
- Assist in scheduling as needed for the company. That includes the ASAP Division, Staffing Division and VNA Division.
- Performs Marketing and Recruiting efforts for Certified Home Care, Private Duty Home Care and Staffing to increase sales results, Meets with potential Referral Sources in all Territories. Gives weekly reports on KPI’s/meetings/results. Oversee the implementation of the Marketing/Recruiting plan. Assist with new client requests being met.
- Performs clerical support related duties and may be required.
- Assist Office Manager with the General Operations of Office and all of its daily functions, including on-call coverage. Phones are answered timely, filing, and required mailings are completed. Guests are greeted upon entering the building. Maintains professional work environment.
- Promotes employee (field) centric behaviors, promotes, and creates activities and other methods to create improvements.
- Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent information to assure agency, staff and client rights are protected.
- Ensures clients’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, maintains a respectful work environment to both staff and clients. Respect the right of clients to wage a complaint. Try to resolve client and staff complaints and keeps supporting documentation.
- Track expiring credentials for all staff in the company including VNA division. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensure Yearly HR paperwork is updated in a timely manner.
- Ensure In-Services are completed monthly/yearly
