Job Overview:
Excel Home Care Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Field Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee the activities and performance of our Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs), ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This position provides leadership, training, and ongoing support for staff to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and outcomes.
Responsibilities of RN Field Supervisor :
Field Supervision and Monitoring:
- Conduct regular field visits to observe HHAs and PCAs during their shifts, ensuring proper care and adherence to established care plans.
- Address client and family concerns promptly and professionally, providing effective solutions to any issues.
Client Care Management:
- Conduct initial and periodic visits to clients to evaluate their needs and satisfaction with care services.
- Develop and update individualized care plans based on client assessments.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the care team and implement updates to care plans as needed.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care strategies and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide support and clear communication to staff, clients, and families.
Staff Development and Training:
- Train, mentor, and support HHAs and PCAs to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback or corrective actions when necessary.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all care services align with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client visits, care plans, and staff evaluations.
- Implement best practices to promote safety and efficiency in client care.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility in scheduling and availability to travel locally for field visits.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
