Maintenance associates ensure the optimal functioning of the hotel, its property, and grounds. They maintain a welcoming environment for guests and employees alike.
Responsibilities:
- Approach all interactions with guests and staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Adhere to company, hotel, and brand standards that promote a safe and efficient hotel operation.
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, including cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters.
- Paint, stain, and/or finish furniture and fixtures within the hotel.
- Maintain the front entrance area, ensuring the parking lot and/or garage and street entrance are kept presentable and free from trash, litter, and other debris.
- Follow established procedures to secure inventory and par levels of company assets such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisions, etc.
- Report all lost and found items according to established standards.
- Notify the General Manager of any unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment.
- 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a day, and lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to follow verbal directions and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
