Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and engage with potential clients and partners in the transportation and logistics sectors, generating new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new business, including prospecting, cold calling, and managing the sales pipeline.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape in Los Angeles to identify new opportunities and drive business strategy.
- Partnership Development: Establish strategic partnerships with key industry players, government agencies, and corporate clients.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and exploring opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations and close deals while ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client solutions and to help enhance the company’s brand presence.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of business development or sales experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of transportation logistics, freight, shipping, or supply chain management.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Zoominfo), sales automation tools, and basic marketing platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Location: Based in Los Angeles, CA or willing to relocate.
