Responsibilities for Wash Tank Assembly Worker

This is a 1st shift position, the hours will be 6:00am - 2:30pm

• This position is a great entry level position for those who are interested in learning more about machining and gaining a new skill.
• This position is NOT your standard Assembly Line work. You will be the only worker in the assembly area working by yourself to pressure test the parts and assemble any parts before final inspection
• You will be using a wash tank to spray off parts to ensure they do not rust and are cleaned and ready to ship to our customers.
• Performs manufacturing operations, including assembly and pressure testing and other duties per applicable work instructions and procedures.
• Responsible in completing the assembly of parts in a timely manner prior to receiving final inspections
• Assembly worker is to ensure the quality of products they are assembling and pressure testing
• Assembly Worker is responsible for record keeping that parts have been pressure tested and assembled
• Use torque to tighten components of the parts down.
• This description is not limited to all other duties asked of you by a supervisor
• Excel is looking for someone who wants to learn and grow, this position is a stepping stone to opening future growth and possibilities in machining

Qualifications for Assembly Worker

• Proven experience in assembly in the same industry (preferred, but not required)
• Strong regard for attention to detail and following instructions.
• Good knowledge about industry products and processes
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• This position requires you to stand for long periods of time
• Position does require bending, reaching, pulling, grabbing movements
• Basic mathematical arithmetic and computer skills
• Excellent oral and communication skills
• Good team player who can work efficiently and willing to learn more!

Schedule is Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm, Hours may increase/decrease based on the business. Saturdays might be required (5 hour shifts)
