Job Overview
Seeking licensed Audiologists to support our veterans during their Disability Benefits Examination. This position performs assessments on Veterans and will not treat nor prescribe medication. This is an in-person position. Professional will review pertinent medical history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for the Veterans.

Duties
- Administers and interprets audiological tests, including but not limited to puretone threshold testing, speech recognition testing. Strenger testing, acoustic immittance testing and bone conduction testing.
- Prepares related reports, maintains, and sanitizes the audiological suite, materials and supplies.
- Read Order request(s) including any remarks, questions, directions or requests for opinion; thorough review of medical history including service records and previous exams. This includes refuting previous medical opinions from previous examiners.
- Occasional removal of soft cerumen.
- Completes appropriate Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) and Medical Opinions (MO) through the EMR during the exam and provides necessary documentation to the VA with full understanding of the Veteran's claimed contention(s).
- Explain the exam process to the veteran and confirm the claimed conditions with the veteran.
- Complete chart and submit exam within 24-48 hours after the exam is completed.
- Follows appropriate and applicable protocol if behavioral health or medical emergencies occur.
- Commitment to serving Veterans, including those with service animals, ensuring they are not refused service.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Unrestricted State Medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice.
* Prior experience in clinical settings preferred
* Computer and technology proficiency.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $59.00 - $63.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
