JOB DESCRIPTION\nFacility has 273 licensed beds, Level 1 Trauma, Level 2 NICU, Teaching hospital, Magnet Designation, and a Primary Stroke Center. This Cardiac Sonographer will float through the facility doing studies. Patients will include inpatient and outpatient – will see a mix of Adults and Pediatrics experiencing Aortic Stenosis, Post Bowel Repair, MitraClip, Pre / Post TEE, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, etc. 1 : 1 patient ratio. EPIC EMR, Merge Cardio. Traveler can expect to receive up to 2 days of orientation to understand the flow. Caribbean blue scrubs required. Free parking on site.\n\nCandidate MUST HAVE : \n- 1-year Cardiac Sonography experience in large, teaching hospital.\n- Comfortable completing a minimum of 8 studies per day.\n- active BLS (AHA)\n- active RDCS (ARDMS), or RCS (CCI)\n- experience with patients experiencing Aortic Stenosis, Post Bowel Repair, MitraClip, Pre / Post transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), Left Atrial Appendage Closures.\n- able to complete stress echo’s, administer contract, mastering pathology, trans-thoracic.\n- able to work with different physicians, isn’t afraid to ask for help, successfully time manages, critical thinking.\n\nHIGHLY PREFER a candidate with strong IV skills, pediatric experience, EPIC experience, and Merge Cardio experience.
