The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing internal and external marketing strategies for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractor. This includes managing social media marketing, creating content for external customers, organizing internal newsletters and social events, and maintaining an employee holiday and celebration calendar. The role will support brand awareness, employee engagement, and customer outreach efforts while ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
Social Media & Digital Marketing (30%)
- Manage and grow the company’s presence on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Create, schedule, and analyze digital marketing campaigns.
- Develop engaging content, including graphics, videos, and blogs.
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement (25%)
- Create and distribute internal newsletters highlighting company updates, employee achievements, and upcoming events.
- Coordinate company events, celebrations, and team-building activities.
- Maintain and update the employee holiday and celebration calendar.
External Marketing & Brand Management (20%)
- Design and develop marketing materials for external clients, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.
- Ensure consistent branding across all communication channels.
- Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Customer & Community Engagement (15%)
- Assist in planning and executing customer appreciation events and community outreach initiatives.
- Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and coordinating media interactions.
Administrative Support (5%)
- Maintain marketing databases and reports.
- Assist with general office tasks as needed.
Professional Development (5%)
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE
- Specific office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Additional hours may be required as needed to support Sales Team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or communications.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, MEP, or related industries.
- Graphic design or video editing skills (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM software.
