SUMMARY OF POSITION ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Outside Sales and Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and achieving revenue targets. The individual will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with key clients, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with other departments to drive overall business growth.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB AND THE PERCENTAGE OF TIME SPENT ON EACH FUNCTION
40%- Client Relations:
o Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing client concerns, providing regular updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
o Collaborate with the business development team to identify opportunities for new projects and repeat business.
o Document records in CRM with 100% data accuracy.
30% - Strategic Development:
o Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve company goals.
o Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends.
o Identify opportunities for sales improvement and sales efficiency, implementing best practices to enhance the overall performance of the sales department.
o Generate a minimum of (10) new leads per month and achieve a conversion rate of 25% in a quarter for new leads.
o Track calls, meetings, and follow-up activities.
20% - Oversight:
o Monitor sales progress and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise with clients.
o Drive a customer retention rate of 80% or higher through exceptional service and relationship management.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB AND THE PERCENTAGE OF TIME SPENT ON EACH FUNCTION
10% - Other duties, as assigned.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE
· Specific office hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
· Additional hours maybe required as needed to support Sales Team
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
· Minimum of (5) years of sales experience in a relative field
· Possession of valid driver's license with a good record of driving
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
· Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership skills.
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 5 Years of Construction Sales Experience
COMMUNICATION
Statement of internal and external business contact, including frequency and scope.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to communicate internally and externally.
MONETARY RESPONSIBILITY.
Amount and consequence of error.
· Responsible for oversight of all sales and achieving company goals.

The disclosure of which would be prejudicial to the successful operation of Excel Services.
· Responsible for Confidential Information regarding accidents and injuries
· Employee Personal Identifiable Information, financial information, and performance reviews
· Financial summaries of projects, job costing, design, and product cost

· The Outside Sales and Business Development will have creative control over sales to include but limited to improving building strategic partnerships and expanding the company's market presence.
