SUMMARY OF POSITION ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES :

The social media and marketing intern will gain hands-on experience in managing and growing our social media presence, with a focus on highlighting key industry and HR celebration days, employee recognition, safety initiatives, and project milestones. The social media and marketing intern will use storytelling and attention to detail to engage diverse audiences across digital platforms.

Requirements :

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB AND THE PERCENTAGE OF TIME SPENT ON EACH FUNCTION

Social Media Management : 25%

• Plan, create, and schedule social media posts in alignment with a pre-defined calendar of HR celebration days, such as Women in Construction Week, Safety Week, and Employee Recognition Days.
• Develop engaging content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others to highlight company culture, safety initiatives, and completed projects.
• Monitor and respond to audience interactions to foster engagement and grow our online community.

Content Creation : 25%

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

Skills and Abilities :

COMMUNICATION
