What are the responsibilities and job description for the DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, FOUNDATION position at Excela Health?
The Foundation Development Coordinator will support day to day donor engagement operations based at the Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation and the Westmoreland / Frick Hospital Foundation. Tasks include : database management and reporting, virtual donor engagement, online research, event registrations, and other office-related duties. Assists and supports all special event planning and related tasks.
Essential Job Functions
- Masters donor database and donor engagement software to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports.
Maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies.
Accurately and effectively captures data metrics and reports to support foundation operations.
Compiles invitation mailing lists.
Serves as an ambassador of the Foundations to donors and Independence Health employees by conveying the Foundations' culture of friendliness, respect, and its mission.
Develops and maintains relationships with donors and potential donors.
Serves as gatekeeper for all communication to the Foundation Office, including answering the telephones, receiving / routing mail, greeting visitors, assessing nature of communication, and responding appropriately.
