Responsibilities
• Performs various duties in operational support of the Food and Nutrition Department, including cleaning, ware washing, serving, food preparation, food transport, and stocking of supplies.
• Works various stations in the patient meal service area, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
• Delivers carts, meals, and supplies to patient units, demonstrating a commitment to timely and efficient service delivery.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to HACCP guidelines and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Prepares, serves, and stores foods according to established guidelines and protocols, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• Zero to one year of experience in food service, sanitation, or a related field;
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
Schedule Information
Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need (rotate shifts, standby, on-call, etc.).
