Food Service Director (FSD) Responsibilities You'll Love:

• Maintain records of finances, inventory, personnel, and equipment, providing reports to facility management.
• Train staff, ensure compliance with standards, and conduct routine kitchen inspections with documentation.
• Step in as needed for dietary aide, cook, or dishwasher roles.
• Relay directives from facility leadership to dietary staff.
• Follow all safety protocols, use protective gear, handle cleaning solutions properly, and report equipment or supply needs.
• Maintain sanitation by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
• Ensure consistent attendance and timely task completion.
• Provide high-quality service with professionalism and teamwork.

What We Look For:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred but not required
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a nursing home kitchen
• Strong knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety standards
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
