About the Role
Location: Anchorage, AK
We are looking for an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets to join our Outside Sales team. This role is responsible for winning new business across assigned geographies and contributing to overall growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel and expand the company's footprint in emerging markets—untapped markets primarily in rural areas.
- Sell restaurant owners the value of partnering and negotiate revenue share agreements.
- Manage a fast-paced, transactional deal cycle and close new business within days.
- Coordinate efforts with a Regional Sales Manager, leveraging market data, sales tools, and promotional materials.
- Conduct face-to-face sales as part of a field sales position.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory, with most trips within 1 hour of the city hired for, but may also include:
- Several overnights (hotel stays).
- Longer travel days (6-7 hours driving or flights).
- Travel costs will be covered and monitored for compliance.
- Compensation includes base pay commission, with commission capped at $1,750/month after a minimum threshold of new partnerships.
Ideal Candidate
- 2.5 years of experience in a closing sales role or related field.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to meet with restaurant owners.
- Efficient and strategic with inside and outside sales tactics to reach goals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in building strategies and playbooks for scalable success.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
