Denture Technician

ExcelHealth Group is expanding our in-house denture fabrication technician team. Ideal applicants are detailed-oriented professionals who have at least two years of experience in a denture lab setting. Experience in digital denture 3D design preferred, but not required.

This is an in-office position only.

Dental lab work includes:

• Denture fabrication, prosthetic finishing, and completion of prosthetic repairs, relines, and re-bases.
• Pouring models, trimming, investing/pressing ceramics
• Denture printing, washing, curing, polishing, and finishing
• 3D denture scanner use along with software knowledge
• Equipment maintenance and repair
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Maintaining company standards through quality control
• Inventory and ordering of supplies in a timely manner

The ideal candidate possesses the following:

• Two years of prior experience in a denture lab
• Prior experience working with 3D printing preferred but not required. Training is available.
• High comfort level with technology
• Task prioritization
• Attention to detail
• Manual dexterity along with strong spatial and visual perception
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to lift 15-20 pounds

Working conditions:

• Work is executed in a laboratory environment that may contain elements of airborne particles, fumes and gasses, high density noise producing machinery and experience elevated temperatures resulting from equipment.
• Work is generally conducted while seated, with some standing and walking expected. Bending and flexing of arms, wrists, hands and fingers, grasping, and turning head and torso may be required.
