Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Bid Manager to join their team for a remote position. The Bid Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of preparing, submitting, and following up on bids for new or renewal business opportunities. This role involves collaborating with various teams, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, and developing high-quality proposals to win contracts. The Manager works closely with various departments and external stakeholders, and this role often requires the ability to work under pressure, managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Bid Preparation
- Lead the creation and submission of bids, proposals, and tenders
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather relevant information and ensure the proposal meets client specifications
- Ensure compliance with all guidelines, deadlines, and quality standards
- Work closely with sales, project management, operations, engineering finance, and legal departments
- Communicate with clients to clarify requirements, expectations, and timelines
- Ensure all parties are aligned with the bid process and deadlines
- Analyze the bid opportunity and develop a strategy for responding
- Identify key selling points and unique value propositions to include in the bid
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies
- Review and edit high-quality proposal content tailored to the specific client and project
- Ensure that all required documents, certifications, and submissions are complete and accurate
- Ensure that all bid-related activities are completed within the specified timelines
- Create project timelines, assign tasks, and track progress toward submission deadlines
- Conduct post-bid reviews to assess the process and improve future bids
- Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to improve the likelihood of winning future business
- Follow up with clients after submission to answer questions or clarify information
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM software and bid management tools
