JOB SUMMARY:
As a Process Optimization Analyst within our field merchandising organization, you will support the process optimization team in identifying and resolving inefficiencies within our existing processes and workflows. The analyst will gain valuable experience in process mapping, analysis, and improvement methodologies, while contributing to the development of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Location/ Job Type: Remote – however may need to be able to do in-person collaborations at times so prefer someone in Southern California area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of experience in a process-oriented environment (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Process Mapping & Documentation:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of process maps and documentation for various merchandising workflows.
- Conduct basic data analysis and research to support process understanding.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources (e.g., interviews, surveys, observations) to identify process issues and opportunities for improvement.
Process Improvement Support:
- Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Assist in the development of training materials and support documentation for new processes.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative process solutions.
- Effectively communicate the value and benefits of process improvements to all levels of the organization.
Project Support:
- Provide support to process improvement projects, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and preparing presentations.
- Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for ongoing optimization.
