Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Level 2 Technician to join their team onsite in Aiken, SC and provide comprehensive technical support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide advanced support for Windows-based systems, including problem diagnosis and resolution for hardware, software, and network issues
Utilize telephone, email, and chat to assist end users effectively
Perform imaging and configuration of desktops and laptops to meet organizational needs
- Act as the primary contact for IT vendors during system implementations
Test and verify IT implementations, including network access, wireless connectivity, and telephony systems
Coordinate and manage relationships with IT vendors and local support teams
Serve as the on-site "hands and feet" for IT implementation and support at the client site
Ensure all IT service areas are supported effectively and efficiently
Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in deskside PC support, customer service, and technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networks
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while managing tasks and responsibilities
Hands-on experience assisting with IT implementations and project support
Proficiency in imaging desktops and laptops
Working knowledge of Active Directory for user and group management
Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems for workload management
Proficiency in the MS Office 365 suite and MS Teams for productivity and collaboration
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
