Qualifications
We are currently looking for driven, motivated, full stack developers with Agile experience and fantastic technical skills to join our team. We are looking for experienced python developers with the following qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in developing scalable and high-performing web applications.
- Django (or similar experience with other Python web frameworks) for rapidly developing web applications.
- Experience with REST and/or SOAP based APIs consumption and creation.
- Strong database skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Deep commitment to test driven development using tools like behave to drive Automated Acceptance Tests (AAT).
- Experience working with HTML5, CSS3, ERB, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with deploying applications to the cloud using Heroku, Amazon Web Services, or similar services.
- Design skills with experience in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database design, and data modeling.
- 4 year college degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
- Understanding of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and the capabilities within the DORA capability catalog is encouraged
- Bonus:
- NoSQL – MongoDB, Redis, etc.
- DevOps and Continuous Delivery tools – Jenkins/TeamCity, Vagrant, Puppet/Chef/etc.
