What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Excellacare Home Health Care?
Looking for a In Home Caregiver on the east of Ann Arbor on Mondays and Saturdays. Mondays is 3:30pm - 10:30pm and Saturday is a double shift 7:30am - 10:30pm. 24 hours per week. This client uses a Hoyer lift to get out of bed. While not required, someone with CNA certification is preferable; the client is vent and trach dependent. The client is verbal. Pay rate is $15.50 per hour. Client also has a cat, so this is a terrific position for cat lovers!

RESPONSIBILITEIS
- Provide routine individualized care for the client following a plan of care
- Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing, light housekeeping, assist with meal prep and feeding and running errands
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a caregiving mentality
- Ability to utilize an electronic timekeeping system
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience in caregiving (informal OR formal)
- Ability to pass a background check
- At least 18 years old
