Job Summary:
We are inviting qualified candidates to participate in a paid working interview for a Sterilization Dental Assistant position. This is an excellent opportunity to experience our practice and demonstrate your skills. During the working interview, you will assist with dental procedures and contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Sterilization Dental Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of patient safety by maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment. You will work closely with our dental team, providing essential support for the delivery of outstanding dental care.
Working Interview Details:
- Dates: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday
- Time: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour
- Purpose: To assess your skills and fit within our team and for you to assess if the position is a good fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Sterilization Excellence:
- Meticulously clean, disinfect, and sterilize all dental instruments and equipment according to strict protocols.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves and other sterilization equipment, ensuring accurate monitoring and documentation.
- Adhere to all CDC guidelines.
- Infection Control Mastery:
- Implement and uphold rigorous infection control procedures to prevent pathogen transmission.
- Manage contaminated materials and waste disposal in accordance with safety regulations.
- Ensure consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Environmental Stewardship:
- Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and hygienic clinical environment.
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of treatment rooms, waiting areas, and all surfaces.
- Ensure proper waste disposal protocols are followed.
- Equipment Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Conduct routine maintenance of sterilization and dental equipment.
- Monitor equipment functionality and promptly report any issues.
- Accurate Record Keeping:
- Maintain precise and detailed sterilization records.
- Document all cleaning and maintenance procedures.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with dental instruments and equipment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Previous Dental Experience is a plus.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Hours may vary slightly on Thursdays)
- Friday - Sunday: Closed
- Flexible part time options available.
Compensation and Benefits:
