Position:

Insurance Agent

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform outbound and inbound calls to update policy holders’ contact information while displaying excellent customer service
• Review policies and make sure that customers are properly covered and paying the most competitive rate.
• Perform an end-to-end processes whist exceeding customer’s expectations
• Going beyond extra mile by resolving client’s other policy issues or complaints by contacting the carriers or the mortgage company
• Generate sales leads
• Build a long-lasting relationship with our customers by providing them what they need, while considering reputational risk of the company
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools and by adhering to the company’s policies and

Procedures

• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Keep the customers STAY with us

Skills:

• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to convince and attract customers to stay with our agency
• High school degree

Job Type: Full-time

Benefits:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

Supplemental pay types can include:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brandon, FL 33511: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Insurance License FL 4-40/ 20-44 / 2-20 (Required)
