Laboratory Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Laboratory Supervisor to lead our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and project management, with a focus on laboratory growth. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in laboratory procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
• Manage and mentor laboratory staff, providing training on laboratory techniques and best practices.
• Proactively engage with and manage laboratory growth, ensuring smooth operational scaling and patient satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for efficient data tracking and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing research initiatives and project timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and equipment, facilitating timely procurement as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science Degree in a relevant scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a research laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management principles, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development and collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
