This Opportunity

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who enjoy the challenge of improving the digital customer experience and taking it to the next level. As a UI Developer you will help create and develop immersive and compelling digital experiences for our client Comcast. You will be working closely with other talented designers and developers to deliver top notch digital experiences across Xfinity Mobile and Website (.com).

In this role you will:

• Brainstorm and bring to life creative concepts with the team
• Maintain and update existing experiences
• Build production-ready code for Xfinity Mobile and Website (.com) use.
• Support the team with internal digital tool development

You can demonstrate:

• Quick prototyping skills — Turn ideas into functional mockups for concept validation
• Advanced coding — Proficiency writing clean code for web, mobile, and store display
• An innovative eye — Maintain a deep curiosity for emerging technology
• A flexible approach — Choose the right tool for the job across languages and frameworks
• A can-do attitude — Distill the essence of creative concepts and translate them into viable digital executions
• A collaborative spirit — Vet ideas with cross-disciplinary teams and advise on technical implementations
• A proven track record of projects across a wide gamut of digital experience — Familiarity with tech like 8th Unity, HTML5, Node, Firebase, AWS, React, and more!
• Working knowledge of Git
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ideal Match:

• Excellent development skills in React
• Ability to build digital UIs for desktop and mobile (mobile first is key)
• Experience building user-centric retail or event space initiatives
• Experience in an agency environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Information Science, Computer Science, or Digital Design related disciplines
• 5 years of professional experience or an Agile development environment
• Experience in partnering with the business and budget owners, gathering requirements, creating documentation and user stories
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasive skills, including the ability to communicate at all business levels
• Excellent ability to build strong working business relationships across teams and personnel
• Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative environment
• Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Innovative; inspires innovation in others through engagement and negotiation
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Skills and Tools

• Design ability considered a plus, although not required
• Experience working with design tools such as Figma considered a HUGE plus
• Experience with Confluence a plus
• Experience with UX deliverables such as Impact Assessments, Wireframes, High Fidelity Comps and providing commentary to the design team on your desired fixes and edits is considered a HUGE plus

IMPORTANT:

2. You will have the ability to work remotely some of the time, but spending a few days a week downtown (Philadelphia) is important. Schedule and specific days are flexible and can be agreed upon.

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
