Job brief:
We are looking for a Technical Consultant (TC) to execute technical deliverables for customer and partner integrations in various software packages. This role requires a combination of technical and interpersonal skills to be successful. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow with an expanding company.
Essential functions:
- Configure customer environments using EHS best practices.
- Design and document business processes to identify appropriate software configuration, integration points and event triggers.
- Write technical design documents where required.
- Review, create, edit and test customer interfaces in various formats (CSV, XML, IDOC, EDI etc.).
- Support user testing activities such as troubleshooting, reading error messages and ensuring the expected results are delivered.
- Log bugs and product enhancements into the various software tracking systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise on how global government regulations impact EPCIS software configurations.
- Background and understanding in the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and Electronic Product Code Information Services (EPCIS)
- 3-5 years’ experience working with TraceLink Serialization Solution.
- Ability to multitask on multiple projects acting as a Serialization Subject Matter Expert for supply chain and EPCIS related discussions.
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain (Brand Owners, CMOs, 3PLs)
- Partner On boarding experience preferred – Ability to act as a liaison between Customer and Trading Partner in connecting Serialization Solutions
- Data Triage and Exception Handling knowledge of Serialization Events between services is recommended.
- Ability to Host and Lead meetings to ensure project deliverables are being met.
- Provide deliverable status updates to the Implementation Project Manager in a timely, consistent and professional manner.
- Contribute to Professional Services best practices.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed (0 – 25% travel requirement)
Experience/Skills:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably within technology organizations.
- Ability to read, parse and manipulate various technical formats such as XML, EDI and CSV.
- Working knowledge of B2B technologies such as AS2, SFTP and Web Services.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products. O365
- Highly self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, yet also work independently on complex problems.
- A demonstrated understanding of when and how to be flexible, and when and how to be firm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extremely high standards for documentation.
Education:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of supply chain business processes including distribution, logistics, warehousing and serialization.
- Working knowledge of UNIX and/or JAVA is preferred.
- Life Sciences experience.
