Program Director
Excel Prep is a specialized school for students who are neurodiverse. Our focused student population includes those with dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, expressive or receptive language challenges, executive functioning challenges, and autism. Our mission is to provide a nurturing academic setting. We center direct instruction, explicit instruction, and precision teaching as hallmarks of our teaching approach. We believe that instruction should be data-driven and founded in education research.
Through our instructional program, students receive daily reading, writing, math, and speech-language blocks. At Excel Prep, we believe that students with specific learning challenges will benefit from smaller group and explicit instruction.
Duties:
- Develop and implement program strategies and initiatives to support the organization's mission and goals
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services
- Manage program budgets, including monitoring expenses and revenue generation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop partnerships and secure funding opportunities
- Provide leadership and supervision to program staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the behavioral health field
- Monitor program outcomes and evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and reporting
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in behavioral health programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or a related role in the behavioral health field
- Strong knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the behavioral health field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
