Job Summary
The Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations of our facility, ensuring that high standards of patient care are maintained. The Clinical Director will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical programs, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties
- Oversee the delivery of quality patient care and ensure adherence to medical documentation and records management protocols.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that align with best practices in special education and applied behavior analysis.
- Supervise clinical staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Conduct research data collection to assess program effectiveness and improve service delivery for individuals with disabilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that address the needs of patients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and relevant regulations affecting patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards within the clinical setting.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or nursing; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and medical records management.
- Familiarity with special education principles and applied behavior analysis techniques is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.
